Our ATSILS Roma and Charleville Satellite Offices are seeking a dedicated Criminal Law Legal Practitioner who is passionate about social justice. As one of Queensland’s largest legal practices, we have developed the service in the Charleville/Roma region, and service demand shows how much an organised and social-justice-focused practitioner is needed to represent our clients, servicing both adult and youth jurisdictions this position offers excellent advocacy opportunity. Candidates can be based in Roma or Charleville areas.  An attractive annual remote allowance of $10,000 is offered to secure service continuity and community relationships.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be the holder of an Unrestricted Practising Certificate. Your experience with both Duty Lawyer type responsibilities and Hearings will be a distinct advantage. Our Administration Staff and Court Support Officers provide extensive service to this role and know our communities well.

Our Workforce Development Strategy will enable you to undertake both team and formal training to succeed. We will interview promptly and look to candidates who can commence as soon as possible.
